In 2003 at the age of 23, Michael S. Tarshi launched Tarshi Development and Properties (TDP) and became one of the youngest real estate developers in the area. TDP stared modestly, with a small cramped office and no employees. But Michael always saw its potential and began buying properties and land throughout New England.
Currently Tarshi Development & Properties has numerous large scale projects in the Greater Boston area, as well as prospectives in key gateway cities throughout the country. TDP has a broad tenant base and works with some of the leading retailers in the northeast. TDP's portfolio is a strong mix of apartments, retail centers and office buildings all in New England.
In 2005 Michael was selected from over a million applicants to be a contestant on Donald Trump's, The Apprentice Season 3. Donald Trump took a liking to the no nonsense man from Boston and labeled him as "one of the best and brightest that America has to offer." Michael is still active in both television, film production and finance.
Michael is a participating supporter of numerous philanthropic organizations including, Peace Games, The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, Bread and Roses, Lawrence Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity. He is also an active member of the ICSC and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
Michael's education is vast and impressive. He graduated The Pike School in 1994, The Pingree School in 1997 and Boston College in 2001. He has studied at both Harvard Business School and MIT center for Real Estate.
Michael is dedicated to excellence and continues to build his companies in both an eco-friendly and community cautious manner.
